cARTie seeks Board Members with vested interest in art and museum education for all. Board Members contribute meaningfully through their time, expertise, means, and advocacy in the community.

What You’ll Do

You will join a dedicated Board of Directors focused on ensuring all young students across Connecticut benefit from positive and prolonged early art and museum experiences.

What You’ll Bring

Board Members each bring something unique to our organization.

  • We ask you to contribute meaningfully to the organization with a minimum Give/Get of $500.
  • It is important you attend all four quarterly Board Meetings, held by virtual methods.
  • Your interests, expertise, and energy are invaluable to the growth of our organization.
  • A team mindset is critical.

What You’ll Gain

  • To the extent you wish, you can gain professional learning certifications and deep knowledge about The cARTie Curriculum, which pulls from promising practices in early childhood and art/museum education.
  • You will have opportunities to see and feel how impactful cARTie field trips are for the young students we serve.
  • You will work in and with community at all times.
  • You make a difference in the lives of 1,000s of young students.
